2nd June 09 - A relaxing day for me & My Loved one .. We Buzz off to KLCC for Movie session and 'Lepak-ing' around since its been quite some time didn't really chill out. Early in the morning, went over to catch up breakfast @ KFC since we are running out of time for the earliest show 'Terminator Salvation' .. Really a nice movie, packed with action and great sound effects even though I didn't really catch up with the story line.

Here you go ~ A pix of my breakfast that I felt disappointed with.

Most of the food is COLD and .. they haven't even ready with the food but yet open the restaurant and expect customer to wait for it to be cooked. >_<"

Hmm ~ we came across this roadshow in the centre court of KLCC. Some of the pix that I've got during my visit .. Most of them are the collection based on the Wonders of the World. Take a Look !!

Eventually there is a bunch of kids sitting in the middle .. playing with Legos while another competition is going on at the same time competing who will be the fastest person who complete the building Lego task.

After that .. went to check out some cool cellphones from SE and LG showroom. But guess what ? To my surprise is .. there is NOTHING to show about in that outlet. OMG !! >_<

Really felt disappointed with it coz it looks really like a concept store but yet nothing is there to be displayed ? Sigh ..

Whoa !!

Looking back at the listings of the post in my Blog here, really freak me out .. Quite a Long time I didn't update my blog. Guess its due to my laziness or should I say Cold Off period for some time before making up my mind to update once more again.

It was few days ago, when my Boss asked me .. how come I didn't update my blog at all. Haha, honestly I didn't realize my Boss is one the people out there who visited my blog frequently. Alright, Cut short !! Once again I am back to blog ...

Judging at the main title of this post .. I guess you know what it means. Yup !! Once again I am currently in this situation, choosing in between 2 paths that lay in front of me.

I was counter offered by one of my loyal corporate customer to work with him together .. Still in the progress of consideration whether to go for that or not ..

Lets just keep my fingers crossed while waiting for my current company's reaction over on this matter. :)

..:: Mudskippers Having Fun in Penang ::..

GEORGE TOWN: Penang’s famed Gurney Drive has a new slippery attraction for locals and tourists – thousands of spotted brown mudskippers can be seen flipping and hopping around the 100m-long mudflat just beyond the embankment wall over the past several months.

The presence of the amphibious fish is believed to be a telling sign of the cleanliness-level in the coastline.

Dr Aileen Kan Shau Hwai, a senior lecturer at Universiti Sains Malaysia’s School of Biological Sciences, said it was unusual for so many mudskippers to be seen at the popular seafront promenade.

“It used to be quite sandy from Tanjung Tokong all the way to Gurney Drive.

“However with human activities, construction and land reclamation, the natural coastline has changed and become a mudflat,” she said yesterday.

Fish out of water: Hundreds of mudskippers skipping, flipping or what looks like (inset) singing along the mudflat on Gurney Drive in Penang.

Dr Kan said the mudskipper was drawn to muddy ecosystems.

“My guess is that there were few mudskippers living there originally and as they breed quite easily, their numbers multiplied as the mudflat expanded,” she said.

She said the hardy fish were territorial with each other but were quite harmless to people.

“You can probably see them shaking their heads at each other or flipping around but they normally disappear into the mud when people come near,” she said, adding they sometimes looked like they were singing when they breathed through their mouths.

Some of the mudskippers were relatively large and Dr Kan said this was a favourable indication of the cleanliness level in the area.

“In some countries, mudskippers are used as a pollution indicator. Something in the pollutants and heavy metals found in polluted areas stunts the growth of mudskippers.

“So, larger mudskippers are actually a good indication of the cleanliness level,” she said, adding the normal length of the fish depended on the species but was around 15cm.

Engineer Clara Kim, 24, who was in Gurney Drive yesterday observing the agile fish, said there were definitely more mudskippers now compared to the last couple years.

“They’re quite mean-looking creatures, but it’s interesting to see so many of them here,” the Penangite said.

Happy New Year 2009 !!

That's the 1st thing I would speak to anyone that came across me .. doesn't matter its a long lost friend or a total stranger. Yup ! Its already a brand new year 2009 .. leaving the year 2008 back in our trail of Life.

It's been a TOUGH year for me to go through .. but yet I'm glad I still survived to date - together with my closed & loved ones. Thinking about the past happenings, it really woke me up from a deep sleep just like what we saw in those movies. Flashback of those good & bad memories as if you are flipping the pages of a book.

Anyway, its already a PAST. Let the bygones be bygone .. so right now we are heading to brand new year. Guess everyone have their own resolution to keep with. Same goes to me as well ..

Lately I'm not able to access to the Internet that often, can't really post up the pictures that I've taken with my K770i but no worries I Will be Back !! XD

18th December 2008 - Today is my Off day and I planned to go back to Ipoh with my Girl. So we headed on to the LRT Station in the early morning without having anything in our tummy. To our surprise was the station was jammed packed with commuters queuing up in a long way to get in. Sigh .. we should have make it earlier or later after the peak hours .. anyway we still move on waiting .. waiting and finally we managed to get into the train but was really compressed into sardines in the can.

Heading back to Ipoh .. in the morning,reaching around afternoon we then separated going back to our own home to spend some time with our family members. As for me, I went back home to enjoy the scrumptious meal prepared by my Mum since its quite some time already I haven't eat home cooking before .. Aikz. >_<

We then meet up each other at the bus station before departing off to KL ..

Everything was going fine and it was a Happy Day for both of us .. when Suddenly ..........
To our surprise ... Bad Incident took place upon US ...

..:: A Quick Genting Trip ::..

11th November 08 - This is the day whereby I packed myself up to Genting for a quick trip that lasted for 2D 1N .. Kinda rush but yet its a Great happy one. Quite sometime already didn't go up there. Quite an amount of things changed .. ranging from shops, cafes, stalls .. but yet there are still much as remained the same. This time around, it was the WET season .. Chilling and cold almost entire day as it rains from time to time compare to the Steaming HOT weather @ KL ..

I got down to KL by bus in the early morning .. and pick up the tickets for the Go Genting Shuttle Bus for 1.50 pm ones. Got no choice since its a last minute purchase so I got to wait for an hour more for the bus to arrive. Without hesitation better take my lunch @ KFC ..

25th October 2008 - Tonight I was able to dine in for dinner @ The Black Canyon Coffee restaurant @ Jusco. Phew ~ I would said almost hitting a year's time already that I haven't been there to eat since the last time before I went down over to KL to work.

As usual I will always look for the Seafood Curry Rice with the Spice Powder rice as the Main dish. From far away .. I can really smell the fragrance curry powder before serving at my table top. XD

Hmm .. a little bit of myself here. Well, lately I've been busy settling things down @ Ipoh,making sure everything is running smooth before leaving down to KL to start a Brand New Life over there. This is my 2nd time going back there to start working on my Life & Career .. hopefully things will be going better.

4th October 2008 - As usual its my Off day ... Got no where to head over to so in the end just went for a quick visit @ the newly open Tesco hypermarket outlet @ Station 18 .. and not to miss out passing by the Temple of 9 Emperor Festival.

2nd October 2008 - Today morning .. went over to the Tow Boo Keong temple together with my Mum after breakfast session to get some Tortoise Pao aka * Wu Guai Bao * .. to eat as my grandma was requesting for it .. as well ...

So here I got a few pix captured during my visit over there. As usual every year it will be crowded with people .. busy purchasing the offerings before entering the temple. There will be alot of thugs .. * I guess * selling the packaged joss sticks at the entrance and surrounding area of the temple ..

Here is the Main Entrance of the temple .. with stores outside selling the Baos' ..

Cars are everywhere parking like Mad Cow @ the front entrance .. contributing to the heavy traffic jam around that area. In the end, I need to park some where far away .. walk to the temple.

6th Sept.2008 - As usual Saturday Morning .. the Only off day for me in a week. Woke up in the morning .. was surfing the NET. when I came across of my friends that I knew during my interview session with Carrefour @ Subang for the Reality Show emailed me.

Open it up and to my surprise is .. both bad and good emotions took place upon me at the same time.
Happy :- My friend have been shortlisted as one of the 12 candidates for the reality program show.
Bad :- I miss it this time .. didn't manage to be chosen. =(

Sigh ..
But anyway, I'm still happy when I managed to be chosen for the interview session and I managed to pass the 4 levels to the final before they ended it up for the final decision on choosing the best ones.
Really an eye opening event for me .. but I believe there will be chances coming in the future for me. ^-^

19th August 2008 - The day I drove down to KL from Ipoh to attend the interview session conducted @ The Summit Hotel by Carrefour Malaysia ..
Captured some pix when I was driving alone .. Kinda bored though .. XD

Was driving along the highway when came across an area which is really covered by heavy mist .. Cooling & refreshing ... XD
So hand abit itchy .. and captured few shots of it ..

Reaching over @ KL .. and I was lost when looking for the way to The Summit Hotel ... Sigh !! Really got no idea how to go over there, in the end .. I was stuck within Damansara, PJ and Subang Jaya. Keep asking people only I was able to make my way to that place .. Luckily I managed to register my name on time. Phew ~
Really a close one ... and there started my waiting period for my interview session which started from 10.15am till 2pm ..
Long time period as I need to pass 4 sections only can proceed on to the final shortlisted candidate ... Lucky ! Phew ~ .. XD

Was feeling really lucky got myself choosen for this interview session. Managed to make some new friends over there and most of them are my seniors as I'm the youngest over there .. =.=" || There were also some assessment that need to be done in groups as well and I was interviewed few times .. but dont know whether my face will appear on the TV screen or not. Phew ~

Just wishing Good Luck to myself that I will be choosen for the finalist.

Greetings Guys ..

Recently really didn't manage to have the opportunity to update my blog. Very sorry about that ..
Last week, an unforeseen incident took place in my family. My Grandpa passed away without anyone's notification that he had already leave the world when everyone was not around in his bedroom. Very upset to hear such news when I was on my way back from work @ Wednesday.

I managed to capture some pix.during the funeral session that I've attended which lasted for 2 days.

This is my Grandpa. A very basic and quick funeral session.

This is the very 1st time I attended a funeral session in the version of Hakka. Abit complicated with lots of praying session that need to be conducted for the entire night till early in the morning.
It was really a very tiring trip as I didn't manage to get enough rest for the weekend. Sigh ~ what to do .. Got to work ma. >_<

I was jumping around in Joy when I heard that Carrefour HQ called me up to attend an interview session @ The Summit Hotel as I'm shortlisted for the contest application. Really was very happy when I heard that news. Thanks for the blessing ..

Back to work later then .. whole day I was busy helping my parents for praying session and preparing the place for friends & relatives arrival upon paying the final respect to my grandpa. For your kind info.. My grandpa is a teacher in a Secondary School. :)

Sunday Night - 3rd August 2008

After work - went over to catch up with this movie @ TGV Jusco Ipoh approx. 11.10pm show. Gosh ! There was alot of people queuing up to purchase ticket while others are waiting for the cinema attendant to let us in.

Some of my friend mentioned that this movie kinda bad .. as the story line and certain parts of the movie doesn't really make sense. Kinda lame .. =.="
But I still want to watch it. This time together with my siblings who came back after an outstation trip. XD

My rating for this movie would be :- 6/10

Great day today it is .. I took the early bus 7.30am from Ipoh down to KL to attend the FIM [Franchise Internation Malaysia 2008] expo which took place @ PWTC this year. It only happened once a year and this time around I finally managed to squeeze my time out to attend.
It was kinda hectic trip as I got to leave KL the same day because Sunday is my working day as usual.

Reaching Kuala Lumpur approx. 10.xx am in the morning. Without further delay, took the STAR LRT service down to PWTC and took my brunch @ McD located inside The Mall. Spend some time having it before making my move to attend the event.
Upon reaching the Lobby of PWTC, I can hear the sound of people talking around and busy hustling hallway. To my surprise, there was alot of people already reached there and queing up for the registration.
Same goes to me .. got to register myself as well with my company name & designation. =)

* This is another company that I'm quite interested in it as well. Low capital to start up with the franchise business .. and I managed to get some free samples over to eat. Great !!

There was a number of companies that participated in this year's Expo and I came across a few companies that I'm quite interested to work on further discussion with them once I got the opportunity to make an appointment with them sooner or later. Other companies from Philippines, Indonesia, Taiwan and Singapore participated in as well. Really an eye opening event for me ... Looking forward for the upcoming event soon.

I can't make it to join the Seminar conducted along with this Expo by Datuk Seri Najib as my time is running out soon. Wasted !! >.<

After I've done with the Expo, I went over to the Book Fair conducted @ PWTC as well .. since there was a few events that took place at the same location. A quick walk around the fair and I get myself a well discounted book. A great one I assume .. Here it is :-

Well,after settled myself with the PWTC event .. head on straight to Lowyat Plaza for a brisk walk around. Just to check out how it goes along all this while since the ever last day I worked there. Really tremendous changes I can see ...

Managed to have a drink with my Ex-Boss and we did discuss about some upcoming business plan and concept that both of us might be interested in the coming days. Great !
Not long later .. I went around the Centrecourt Promotion booths selling laptops, and other consumer electronics. Gosh !! >.<" || I came across 3 items that I really wish to have .. I'll update you guys about it later .. XD

Malaysia plans to cut fuel prices if oil extends fall

If the oil price trend continues downwards, it is only right that it is reflected in the domestic price, says Deputy Prime Minister

MALAYSIA'S government, which raised gasoline prices 41 per cent in June, plans to reduce tariffs at the pumps should crude oil extend declines.

“Certainly, there is a desire for us to reflect the current market situation,” Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak said today in Kuala Lumpur. “If the trend continues downwards, it is only right that it is reflected in the domestic price.”

Asian countries from India to Indonesia raised fuel prices after oil prices soared to records this year. Cutting prices in Malaysia would swell a fuel subsidy that last year cost the government RM35 billion (US$11 billion). Crude today extended the biggest monthly decline since 2004.

The Cabinet is discussing each week whether to cut prices, Najib said. He declined to say when a decision might be made. Crude oil futures in New York have fallen more than US$23 a barrel, or 16 per cent, from a record US$147.27 on July 11.

Malaysian Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Minister Datuk Shahrir Samad said in an interview this week that the government may cut prices should crude drop below US$125 a barrel for at least three weeks.

Crude oil for September delivery declined as much as 86 cents, or 0.7 per cent, to US$123.22 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. The contract traded at US$123.34 a barrel at 10.33 am Singapore time. - Bloomberg

This is it ... the movie for the day. Went over to the cinema TGV @ Jusco Ipoh to catch up with this show. I thought it will be some sort of action and thrilling one .. but who knows its actually nothing much the difference with the normal episode basis that we watch years ago on our Television screen. =.="

Anyway, its not really that bad .. I would give it a 5/10 rating for this.

Some how the show wasn't really turn out to be a good one when there was an uncle sitting in front of me .. blocking the view and have been started to giggle and laugh from the beginning of the show till the end. People who sat next to him .. rather find a place in the front row when he started to make noise and pointing his finger at the screen while giggling ..

Really .. WTH ! =.="
There are plenty of WEIRD people in this world .. Haha .. XD

In the end, I got no where to move but remain @ my seat and watched it till the end. Thereafter .. speeding back to my office as its time to work.

Anyway, today I went off for walk with my MuM @ the Bukit Kledang some where around Menglembu area. If you're from Ipoh .. for sure you will know where is it. XD

Its really a great destination for relaxation .. Simple and Not really crowded with people as well. Got to reach there only by AirAsia .. and approx. 20 minutes from the airport on road to reach here. Oh ya, its actually situated in Indonesia ..

KUALA LUMPUR 25 Jun - Kerajaan bersetuju menaikkan kadar komisen jualan pengusaha stesen minyak daripada 9.5 sen kepada 12.19 sen seliter untuk petrol dan 4.5 sen kepada 9 sen seliter bagi diesel berkuat kuasa hari ini.

Menteri Perdagangan Dalam Negeri dan Hal Ehwal Pengguna, Datuk Shahrir Abdul Samad berkata, ia diluluskan setelah mengambil kira kenaikan kos operasi seperti yang dibangkitkan oleh Persatuan Pengusaha Stesen Minyak Malaysia (PDAM).

Katanya, kerajaan juga memutuskan masa operasi stesen minyak di seluruh negara diseragamkan dari pukul 6 pagi hingga 11 malam.

``Arahan ini berkuat kuasa mulai 1 Julai ini dengan mana-mana stesen minyak yang mahu beroperasi 24 jam perlu mendapat kelulusan daripada kementerian.

Weeee .... once again, I'm back to Ipoh from KL trip last weekend. Finally I can see her .. @ My Dear. Although it was a tiring and hectic trip but yet we enjoyed every moment we spend together. Early Saturday morning, I took the Plusliner bus headed down to KL .. reaching approx. 11 something in the morning. Then took the LRT ride towards the Taman Jaya station and waited for her till she finished up with her works and classes around 1.xx pm. Luckily I brought along my PSP .. have been playing the FIFA 06 at the station till she came and picked me up.

From there, we headed to the nearest Pizza Hut outlet and filled up our stomach as both of us are really starving over there. Here are some pictures taken during this trip .. =D

It was really a great show .. as both of us have been laughing from the beginning till the end of the show.. XD

But she got us a pair of cute handphone holder as well .. but I just managed to take pix of mine one. The green square little soft soft toy .. :P

That's mine .. and her's one is in Pink color. =D

Then we went to the Popular and 'Pay Less Books' store as well .. and she managed to get some of her favourite book and stationeries needed for her studies and work as well. Guess what ! I was wandering around the Popular Bookstore, I managed to pick up RM10 note from the ground. SOmeone drop it I guess .. its a gift for me. XD
Got to make full use of it .. as old people's saying .. Not Good to Keep it ..
Hmm .. I wonder whether its true or not. But believe it better than not ...

Besides that we managed to get ourself a pair of chopsticks .. that looks pretty nice. As usual .. hers is blue color and mine is red. I will capture them if I got the chance again .. XD

Thought of going for Mamak session for supper with My Dear .. but then since both of us also tired. So we headed back home to get some rest while chit-chatting till we slept on the bed. What a tiring day .. but yet Happy one.

Early morning .. we woke up and headed for buffet breakfast to fill up our stomach since yday night sleep kinda early. Enjoying a quick breakfast session and then we got to prepare ourself to head down over to The Curve for an appointment with my Elder Sister, Daphne. We waited for her for some time over at the Secret Recipe restaurant while both of us .. enjoying our drinks, cakes and not to miss out my Lunch before heading back to Ipoh later. After meeting up with my sister and settled with the discussion .. we headed to Tesco Damansara .. to get some basic groceseries for my Dear before she sent me back to the LRT station to catch up with my bus around 5.30pm ..

My Dear looked tired and exhausted. Same goes to me too ...
Now she aint feeling well .. Sigh, hopefully she will recover soon ... :) Wishing her Well .....
I Miss Her Very MucH .......

Fuel card plan to improve subsidy rebate system

KOTA KINABALU: The Government is looking at adopting a system whereby motorists can buy a fixed amount of subsidised fuel each month and pay for the rest at market rate.

Second Finance Minister Tan Sri Nor Mohamed Yakcop said the system includes providing Malaysian motorists with a special card for buying subsidised fuel.

“We are still looking into this system as certain infrastructure would be required for the subsidised fuel cards to be used,” he said, adding that the RM625 cash rebate for motorists was the best and fastest approach the Government could take to cushion the recent 41% hike in fuel prices.

Touching on the same subject, Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Minister Datuk Shahrir Samad said the fuel subsidy rebate system would be fine-tuned for the convenience of the people.

He said that various options were being studied, including the possibility of using a fleet card system.

“For example, under the fleet card, you would get your rebate at the petrol pumps as and when you purchase your fuel instead of having to queue up at post offices,” he said.

Shahrir pointed out that the present cash rebate system was not the perfect long-term solution, judging from the crowds of people rushing to collect their rebates.

“We are talking about rebates for 500,000 cars a month and that does not even include motorcycles.

“Surely there can be a better system of dispensing subsidy to vehicle owners,” he told The Star.

Shahrir said that as this was the first time the rebates were being given, there was plenty of room for it to be upgraded and improved upon.

“We don’t know whether it will be continued or not. Maybe my Cabinet colleagues are satisfied with it, but we have to work on it,” he said.

He declined to comment on other suggestions, preferring to make the announcement once it was finalised.

Motorists all over the country crowded post offices on Saturday as they scrambled for the RM625 fuel subsidy rebate for cars and RM150 for motorcycles.

By the end of the day, RM116.7mil had been collected by almost 240,000 motorists from 683 post offices.

Meanwhile, a fleet card system presently exists for public transportation operators who use the card to buy diesel at subsidised rates.

The system was introduced to curb diesel smuggling and the illegal sale of the fuel.

Road tax: Get your rebates in 3mins

KUALA LUMPUR: It will not take more than three minutes for eligible vehicle owners to get their cash rebates of up to RM625 from 683 post offices nationwide starting Saturday.

Pos Malaysia Berhad executive director Datuk Abu Huraira Abu Yazid said those who renewed or paid their road tax between April 1 and May 31 this year were eligible to claim the rebate anytime between Saturday and March 31 next year.

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi announced the road tax cash rebates to cushion the blow of increased fuel prices he unveiled on June 4, to RM2.70 a litre for petrol and RM2.58 a litre for diesel.

Private vehicles of engine capacity of 2,000cc and below, private pickup trucks and jeeps with engine capacity of 2,500cc and below will enjoy a RM625 rebate. Owners of motorcycles of 250cc and below are eligible for a RM150 rebate.

To collect their rebates at the post office, Abu Huraira said vehicle owners must present their original identity card and fill up a simple form.

"Upon filling up the form that requires your name, identity card number and the vehicle plate number, proceed to the counter where your details will be verified with Road Transport Department's database.

"Once the details are confirmed, your thumbprint will be required on the form and the cash handed over. It is a simple process," he told a press conference at Pos Malaysia near here on Thursday.

Those who don't want to queue up can fill up the same form and drop a section of it into a special box that would be provided at the post office, keeping a customer copy for themselves. They must ensure they write their current address and contact number on the form.

"At the end of the day, our staff will verify their details, and if they are eligible then a money order would be posted to the given address within seven days," Abu Huraira said.

He advised people not to rush as they have up to March 31 next year to claim their cash rebates.

Road taxes paid or renewed between April 1 and May 31 constitutes the first phase of the rebate scheme. Abu Huraira said the second phase are those who had renewed or plan to renew their road tax between June 1 this year and March 31 next year. These can start claiming their rebates from July 1 onwards.

Abu Huraira said eligible Malaysians were allowed to claim the rebates for a maximum of five vehicles (both automobiles and motorcycles) per owner.

He said Pos Malaysia had frozen all leave of its 2000+ staff from June 14 to July 31 to ensure smooth implementation.

Post offices are opened from 8.30am to 5pm on Mondays to Saturdays, except for post offices in Kedah, Kelantan and Terengganu, which are closed on Fridays. Post offices are closed on the first Saturday of each month and on public holidays.

Hmm .. guess everyone knew that yesterday was a havoc to nearly all the petrol stations in Malaysia. Not to miss out mine over here as well ... was really getting congested with customers queing up in line at my station when the news announced approx. 4.xx pm in the evening .. I got no choice but to call back all my workers to form a group force to encounter this situation. Phew ~

It was already late night approx. 9.xx pm ... and my 2 tanks for RON 97 already depleted. Selling RON92 and yet there is still plenty of customer going for it .. Aikz.

It was really a shocked to all the customers when I announced that RON97 fuel already sold out .. and it was totally a silence moment .. before they start to question my staffs about the fuel product's difference, pricing and performance wise.
Since there is a long way behind .. I've decided to carry a few cartons of Cactus Mineral Water to be distributed to the customer inside the car to cool them down while waiting for hours over at my station just to pump petrol .. O_O

Fuel Hike brings Disastrous changes towards the Citizens of Malaysia.

The government has announced that petrol price will go up by 78 sen at midnight - a 40.6 percent jump from RM1.92 per litre to RM2.70.

At this point of time, this is the current market price at all nationwide petrol stations :-

(1) RON 97 - $2.704 MYR
(2) RON 92 - $2.621 MYR
(3) Diesel - $2.581 MYR

Still awaiting for the new upcoming Subsidy system to be officially announced. As stated below is part of the news update regarding about the system.

* RM625 rebate for cars below 2000cc - this will be implemented on a yearly basis which means actually every month we will be getting approx. $52.10 MYR worth of subsidy and will be reimbursed when you renew your road tax every year.

New subsidies only for poor

KUALA LUMPUR: The government will scrap ceiling prices on petrol and diesel in August, and allow market forces to determine pump prices after incorporating a new subsidy system for lower-income groups.

In theory, this means when world oil prices go down, it should be cheaper to fill up at the petrol stations. The current price is about RM1.92 per litre, among the cheapest in the region.

Given rising crude oil prices at the moment, however, most likely the average Malaysian will pay more for petrol and diesel, similar to consumers in Singapore and Thailand. In effect, pump prices could be more than double the current subsidised prices.

Oil's rise to records above US$130 a barrel has forced governments across Asia to remove subsidies so that they can continue to have funds for development and other needs.

In Asia, only Myanmar has slightly lower pump prices than Malaysia, although sales in Myanmar are rationed to two gallons (9.1 litres) per car a day.
"There will be no controlled prices. It will depend on global market prices," Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Minister Datuk Shahrir Abdul Samad said after opening the Malaysian Construction Summit 2008 here yesterday.

Shahrir said the cabinet would announce today more details on the new subsidy programme that will be put in place to help the lower-income group deal with higher pump prices.

He said possible mechanisms include cash payments to those in need, or setting quotas.

"At the moment, the more petrol you use, the more subsidy you get. That doesn't sound like an effective system.

"At the same time, we have to stop smuggling of diesel to the neighbouring countries," Shahrir added.

As crude oil prices in the international market keep going up, petrol and diesel at stations are capped at ceiling prices. As a result, the fuel subsidy keeps on increasing.

If the system is not reformed, the government could end up spending RM56 billion on fuel subsidy alone this year.

In countries where pump prices are not subsidised, there is normally a two- to three-week time lag before higher crude oil prices translate to a hike in prices at the pump.

Other factors taken into account by petrol station operators in these markets include the exchange rate (since oil prices are quoted in US dollar), the current or spot price of oil, and tax component of the respective countries.

Meanwhile, Reuters reported Bank Negara Governor Tan Sri Zeti Akhtar Aziz as ruling out using currency policy to tame prices.

"After the government announces what the nature of the changes are to subsidies and other prices, we will make a comprehensive assessment (on the effect on inflation)," she said.

"The ringgit has been and will continue to be determined by the market," she said.

"In so far as the ringgit appreciates, this of course will contain imported inflation, but the central bank will not use it as a tool of monetary policy."

The ringgit is up 2.6 per cent against the dollar so far this year.

Perodua to retrofit cars

KUALA LUMPUR: Carmaker Perusahaan Otomobil Kedua (Perodua) is looking at the logistics of retrofitting some 200,000 of its older cars with rear seat belts before the three-year grace period is up.

According to Perodua managing director Datuk Syed Hafiz Syed Abu Bakar, it would identify the company’s outlets that were properly equipped to handle the retrofitting jobs.

“As the retrofitting of rear seat belts involves public safety, we are willing to work with the Government,” he said yesterday.

Perodua’s models, which are not equipped with rear seat belts, are mostly the earlier variants of the Kelisa, Kenari, Kancil and Kembara.

The ruling for rear-seat passengers to buckle up came into force on Sunday for cars registered after January 1995.

However, summonses will only be issued at the end of August.

Transport Minister Datuk Ong Tee Keat said on Sunday that an agreement for owners of locally-made vehicles to get rear seat belts installed free had been worked out with the manufacturers, banks and insurance companies.

A multi-party memorandum of understanding on the free installation is expected to be signed soon.

An industry observer said the installation of rear-seat belts for Perodua models would include the three-point belt-type for left and right rear passengers.

“This type is more complex and expensive than the centre lap-type seat belts and will involve not just anchoring points under the rear seats but also on the body pillars of the car,” the observer said.

The body pillars next to the backrests of the rear seats provide additional anchoring points for the three-point seat belt system.

The source also said the retrofitting of Perodua cars with the rear seat belts would involve modification of the interior panels enclosing the body pillars.

“It might also be difficult to get new panels for models that are old or out of production,” he said.

The Malaysian Automotive Association supports the retrofitting of the rear seat belts on older cars as it would enhance road safety.

President Datuk Aishah Ahmad said that many car manufacturers had already fitted rear seat belts on their vehicles even before the Government had made their usage mandatory.

She added that the Road Safety Department should hold discussions with manufacturers to ensure smooth installation.

Details of rear safety belt installation on June 17

KUALA LUMPUR: Owners of locally-produced cars not fitted with rear safety belts will be informed of where they can get them installed come June 17, when the Government is also expected to reveal more details of the move.

Transport Minister Datuk Ong Tee Keat said the announcement would follow the signing of the memorandum of understanding (MoU) between manufacturers, banks and insurance companies on the same day.

Among other things which will be clarified are the total number of cars nationwide involved in the retrofitting of rear safety belts and the total cost of the exercise, estimated to be in the millions of ringgit.

It was reported on Sunday that owners of locally-made vehicles would have their rear seat belts installed free in a move to encourage and not burden the public to comply with the ruling which came into effect two days ago.

"All of this will be revealed after the MoU is inked. The public will be informed of where they should get their rear seat belts affixed," said Ong, quashing notions that there was still uncertainty on who would bear the cost of the move.

"We have spoken to local car manufacturers who have agreed in principle to accommodate the costs, and in addition several corporate sponsors have also come forward to provide funding," he told a press conference Tuesday.

Asked about the penalties on offenders once the six-month grace period of waiving summonses was over, Ong said it would be revealed in due course.

He earlier launched the Traffic Heroes Club, a programme undertaken by UMW Toyota Sdn Bhd in collaboration with the Education Ministry and the Road Transport Department to create road awareness among children in primary schools.

Full subsidy system cannot be decided now, says Shahrir

KUALA LUMPUR: The fuel subsidy scheme to be announced Wednesday is a step towards the total revamp of the subsidy that will take place in August, Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Minister Datuk Shahrir Abdul Samad said.

He said the full subsidy system couldn’t be decided immediately, as currently the Finance Ministry, for example, is still evaluating all proposals and a final decision had yet to be made on the scheme.

Shahrir said the announcement on Wednesday would be an incremental step towards that, and that he did not see the statements made by him and the Prime Minister as contradictory.

"The announcement by the Prime Minister should be seen as the implemental part, not the step towards the final solution.

"I don't think it is the final scheme, as there must be a system if there is a hike in fuel prices, what is the proper subsidy mechanism that the Government will use,'' he told a press conference Tuesday after his keynote address at the 1st Malaysian Construction Summit 2008 at PWTC here.

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi said on Monday that the new fuel subsidy scheme would be announced by the Government on Wednesday.

Abdullah had said that the new scheme would be implemented immediately after the Cabinet approves the proposal by the Cabinet committee on inflation.

When asked what was the gist of the announcement then, Shahrir told reporters to wait for the announcement on Wednesday.

"I don't know, you have to ask the Prime Minister,'' he said in jest.

Shahrir said the subsidy mechanism would either be in the form of cash income subsidies or the usage of the quota system maybe through MyKad or through the car registration number.

"We will look at the choice, and will have to make a decision by August. So the final picture will emerge in August,'' he added.

Shahrir added that it was impossible to have a price increase without some way of subsidising the lower income groups.

"The idea ultimately is to increase the pump prices according to the market prices, but at the same time we need to deliver subsidies to Malaysians.

"When this is done, it will also allow us to stop the smuggling, stop the leakage and overall stop the abuse.

"As right now, what we have is the subsidised price at the pump, where one can buy the petrol or diesel as much as you like as there is no restriction.

"This is about wastage, then one can also smuggle it out because there is a big difference in the pricing of fuel in neighbouring countries,'' he added.

New oil subsidy from Wednesday

KUALA LUMPUR: A new fuel subsidy scheme to be announced tomorrow will take immediate effect to prevent further speculation.

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi said the anti-inflation committee would decide today on the various proposals put forward by the Cabinet.

He was speaking to reporters after chairing the national small-and-medium enterprise development council at Bank Negara here yesterday.

Abdullah was asked to confirm an announcement made by Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Minister Datuk Shahrir Abdul Samad that a new fuel subsidy scheme would most probably be implemented in August.

Abdullah said: “He said 'might be'. As far as the subsidy management scheme is concerned, the final decision will be made on Wednesday.

“It was to be decided last Friday but it so happened that many of the ministers (involved) were attending conferences overseas. We wanted all to be present to make the decision.”

Asked whether the announcement would take effect immediately, he said: “We want it to be effective immediately. If not, there will be a lot of speculation.”

He, however, did not disclose what the new subsidy scheme would involve.

Earlier at Parliament, Shahrir said any change in the subsidy scheme might result in a rise in petrol and diesel prices.

He said the scheme might be changed in August as stated earlier by Second Finance Minister Tan Sri Nor Mohamed Yakcop.

“It will happen. Petrol price will increase,” he said at the lobby of Dewan Negara yesterday.

However, he said Malaysians would still enjoy subsidies, but it would be given based on need.

On another matter, Abdullah said the Government would set up a special committee to recommend measures to reduce the impact of rising costs and oil prices on small-and-medium enterprises (SMEs).

He said measures to be considered included tax incentives to encourage SMEs to upgrade their machinery and equipment as well as adopt new technology.

Abdullah said the measures were vital to ensure that SMEs were not forced to shut down due to rising oil prices.

He said that more than 286,000 SMEs received assistance through the implementation of 189 key development programmes involving RM4.9bil.

Asked whether the RM1bil special allocation for rural development in Sabah was due to pressure by Sabah Barisan Nasional leaders, he said: “It’s for infrastructure development in rural areas in Sabah. It’s from the Federal Government. It’s part of the consideration we are making at the moment.”

Decision on fuel ban on foreign cars tomorrow

SINGAPORE: The decision to ban the sale of subsidised petrol to foreign-registered vehicles will only be finalised tomorrow, said Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak.

“Wait for the anti-inflation committee meeting, as I want to know the latest proposals on the matter. Anyway, the original proposal was from the Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Ministry.

“We will come out with a statement on Tuesday,” he said, adding that the Government would have to decide on a new effective date.

On feedback on the new ruling, Najib said that while Singaporeans accepted the decision, they hoped there would not be a total ban.

“They do not mind paying the market rate. We will also have to see if we can have two separate pumps,” he said, adding that the Singaporeans acknowledged that this was Malaysia’s right.

Asked whether the Government knew how much it would save with the move, he said this was still under study.

“We are collecting the data, especially according to nationality. We want to ensure there are no double charges, especially for Malaysians who own Singapore-registered vehicles,” he said.

Asked whether there would be a policy review, and the move implemented only in the north, he said: “This will make it seemed that we are targeting Thais. By right, we have to apply this rule to all foreigners.”

Najib quashes talk of petrol price increase

PUTRAJAYA: Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak has brushed off speculation that petrol prices will increase by 40 sen following the government’s plans to restructure the subsidy system, including the petrol subsidy.

The Deputy Prime Minister said it was untrue and baseless, particularly when the Cabinet had not discussed subsidy restructuring at its weekly meeting yesterday.

“There's a lot of speculation and talk going around.

'But none of it holds water. The public should not listen to rumours,” he said.

Najib said the Cabinet was supposed to discuss the restructuring of the subsidy yesterday but had to postpone it to next Wednesday as several ministers involved in the issue were absent.

He added that the decision to review the fuel subsidy was to ensure it benefited the target group, plug leakages and loopholes and stop abuse.

Najib hinted that under the new reform plan – aimed at ensuring a fair distribution of the subsidy – those with higher affordability would have to pay for “petrol closer to the market price.”

On former opposition members joining Umno, he said that according to party procedures, the supreme council would decide whether to accept them, particularly if the applicant had previously left Umno to join another party.

“In such a scenario, the headquarters will accept the application and secretary-general will present the case before the supreme council.

“The fate of their entry into Umno will be decided by the supreme council,” he said when asked to comment if it was against party rules to accept applications by former PKR leaders Anuar Shaari and Khairul Annuar Ramli to join Umno.

Hmm .. Friday Night was really a surprise for me coz My Dear baked some food for me and my friends all the way from KL and pass it over to us through a friend of ours in the morning. She baked Egg tarts, Chocolate Muffins, Butter Cake and not to miss out her .. 'Special Fried Rice together with Sweet & Sour Pork ' .. It was really tasty and this time around its much better than the 1st attempt. Good work, Dear !! Thanks alot for the hard work .. Dear ~ Very sorry that you got to sacrifice your sleeping hours just to make good food for me to eat. Really appreciate it very much .. No words can really represent my feelings about it to her.

I will update you guys once I got the pictures with me. But this time around, I didn't really expect the egg tarts she made .. looks nice and taste great !! Haha, the normal me .. will always complain about food but hers really .. ' Nice !! ' ..

It has been a Great Weekend last week .. I spend together with You and my Frenz. Thanks for coming all the way down to Ipoh, Dear .. to spend a 2D 1N trip with me. Really appreciate it and had a great time with you. Eventhough rushing abit .. but yet it will never be enough for me as I wish to spend more time with you or I would say .. If I got the ability to stop the time at the moment.
~ ' I will do it just for you ' ~

She came down to Ipoh, reaching around 1.xx pm in the afternoon. As planned, I will be guiding her from Jusco,Ipoh towards my house but then this time around She was trying to give me a shock ! She secretly driving through the path I used to go from Highway to my house and within a short period of time She pop out in front of my house already. Hahaha ! Really a great work,Dear ~ At least you still remember the way how to travel around the shortcut way ...
Hmm .. guess what ?
This time around, She baked a number of Muffins, Swiss Rolls, and Jelly for Me and My Family not to miss out my friends to give it a try on. Honestly, I haven't eat her cookings or bakings for a certain period of time already. Really happy that I can finally give it a try on her bakings. Hehehe ~ Thanks alot for the food,Dear .. Muackz ! =p

After settled down our accomodation thingy, We head on to pick up my friend at his office and then we drove up to Miners Arm to take our lunch as planned. Phew ~ to our surprise is - the Set Lunch offer is already ended when we reached there around 3.xx pm. Haiz ~ What to do. We are late .. but doesn't bother about it. We sat down and placed our order as we are super starving over there edi. We spend sometime over at the restaurant chit chat-ing and sharing laughter together while giving it a try on the bakings by my Dear.
2nd Spot .. we head down to the Perak Cave to bring my Dear over there for a quick praying session as I promised to bring her there everytime she came down to Ipoh. We were busy praying while my friends are wandering around taking pictures. Snapping sceneries and exotic pets such as 'monkeys' .. Me and My Dear was looking forward to get the 'cheap cheap ice cream' to cool down abit as it was really a sunny and hazy day. Aikz ~ but that uncle is not there that day. Anyway .. we give it a try for another seller around that place.

Before we leave, We had a care taker of the Perak Cave to take a picture of us together as a Family SHot. Great !
We then head on to Stadium to had a quick tea-break. My Dear had Ice Kacang @ ABC and the so called 'Wan Tou Long' .. don't know how to translate it in English. But she enjoyed it very much. Hahaha ~ Had a quick break over there with my friends before we head back to our home to prepare ourself for dinner at the steamboat restaurant.

Beep ~ Beep ~ there sounds the hourly alarm indicating 6.oopm already. Time for us to prepare ourself for the Steamboat Buffet Dinner. Phew ~ we were late about 5 minutes to the restaurant and same of my friends were there already. Without further delay, we placed the order on the soup base we wanted and we started to pick our food when everyone is there already. Spending sometime chatting, eating, joking .. laughing all the while. But unfortunately .. this time around My Dear didn't really eat much as the food over there doesn't really suit her. They mostly focus on seafood .. which is a forbidden food scope for her. After dinner, we head on straight to the TGV,Ipoh to catch up with the movie 'Narnia : Prince of Caspian' .. quite a nice movie when it comes to battle and war zone that time. Hahaha ~ my fav.part with my Dear also. Bought her some snack food to crunch along during the movie since dinner she didn't really pickup much for her stomach. After that, we head to Oldtown Ipoh Kopitiam to spend some time around while having a drink and some light food before we called it off a day. Very tired and sleepy also .. but yet its a great day ~ we spend together. =)
Time to sleep then ~ Zzzz ... Zzzz ... Zzzz ....

Sunday Morning, Me & My Dear .. went for buffet breakfast before carrying on with our event of the day. We went to settle some stuffs at my parents house and my buddy as well .. before heading to Tesco for a quick shopping. Bought some basic groceries for My Dear and then we drove down to Sitiawan to pay my Dad a visit. But before that, we went to the Drive through McDonalds and get ourself some food to eat along the journey. We spend sometime chatting inside the car .. and My Dear rested for awhile as she was quite tired and later need to drive back to KL alone. When we reached there .. my Dad brought us around his farm in the deserted area of Lekir. Hahaha ~ to my surprise is .. My Dear was really excited and happy to see those goats, chickens, ducklings, doggies and not to miss out fishes. She even carry a small little goat as my father passed one over to her to see .. Hehehe ~
Later we went to have a quick tea break with my Dad at a nearby warong. Spend sometime chatting with my Dad but then ended up early as there was a friend of him joined in. We didn't manage to spend long hours over there but we planned to go back there when we got the chance again. Then we head on straight back home as its going to be late for my Dear to go back home to KL. When we reached Ipoh .. I brought my Dear to buy some light snack for her to eat along the way back home.

I Miss You very much, Dear .. Really hope to see you soon ..

Saturday, 19th April 2008 - This was the ever 1st time I have done something that is really against my policy of Life .. It was a lonely night ... whereby my mind was stuffed with problems and issues that I've been thinking over and over again. Trying not to think about it but yet it always pop up in my mind just like a nut cracker ..
Since I doesn't have much friends around me .. I finally make up my mind to give it a try on my own. The 1st ever outing for myself entirely alone. I went down to Ipoh Parade @ GSC for a movie entitled 'The Forbidden Kingdom'. It was a nice movie indeed but I was wandering around the counter before making my move over there to pick up a seat for that movie. At 1st, the Cashier told me that 'Sir,very sorry that not much seats left for couples already .. only front seats. I was like .. 'Oh,ok .. but I'm just looking for a single seat. Immediately he said 'Oh, 1 Person only is it .. Got ! Corner side you want .. ? ..
No choice but I got to pick up that one .. since other place are kinda front facing the main screen. I was feeling awkward.. when I got myself the ticket. Coz its the 1st time in my Life I watch a movie on my own as all this while I used to accompany by people and my close ones.

Time is still early .. I went over to a Cafe to get myself a drink while enjoying the Free WiFi service and waiting for the time to pass for the show to start. Windy and Cooling night .. I was sitting outside of the Cafe, sipping on my Ice Lemon Honey drink. Watching crowds of people coming in and out of the shopping center and Blink ! My watch show the right timing for the show to start ..
No sweat .. I ran towards the cinema and get myself a drink and towards my seat ~ thought of watching the movie trailers but .. Sigh ~ the movie already started. Aikz !
Sitting at the corner side .. I enjoyed the movie from the beginning till the end and it was full house that night. To my surprise, sitting next to me was a girl .. she was alone too .. just like me. Really what a coincidence .. =)

Done with the show .. I went to the McD restaurant that operated 24/7 .. to get myself a simple meal for supper. Again it was like packed sardine in a can .. alot of people here and there even got to queue in line to get my food. Aikz ~
Eating while watching the TV screen that is attached at the window screening ASTRO programs .. || Done with that .. and the time is almost 12am .. better get back home to get some rest as the Morning I will need to start early for the day ..

..:: A Great Weekend with U ::..

Hmm .. lately haven't been updating my blog for quite sometime already .. busy with works over at my station here. Sigh ~ But I still manage to take my off day to go down over to KL pay my Dear a visit. Nowadays both of us are really working hard towards our dream .. day by day .. from morning till night we have been putting our hope in mind to motivate ourselves to achieve what we have planned for the upcoming years in Life.
Last weekend was a great one .. as I managed to spend 2D 1N trip over in KL with my beloved. As usual .. I will be taking the express bus over to KL from Ipoh here and reaching there around noon time. Waiting for my Dear to pick me up at the Amcorp Mall .. I went over there to browse and walk around the mall. To my surprise its really changed already as there are more stores opening in different levels and its getting packed with people as well .. compare to 2 years ago when I was there with my Dear. Spending my time on PSP while waiting for her to pick me up .. and Beep ! Beep ! .. here comes the ringing tone of her in my cellphone. We went for lunch together at the McD restaurant without further delay .. as both of us haven't take our breakfast yet .. and its was quite packed as well over there. Lots of students and cheerleaders around .. Aikz ~
She managed to get herself .. 20 pcs of McNuggets .. her fav.there .. and she can really eat them all you know. Hahaha .. XD ~ Very impressive one ! As for me a basic meal will be more than enough edi.. We then went walking around the mall browsing through some stalls with Hot Bargain Items .. and I managed to get her 3 pairs of earrings. Quite nice and worth the bucks .. ! =D and she wore it throughout the weekend ..

Once we are done over there .. we went to settle down our accomodation and get some rest before proceeding on with our plan in the late evening. This time around, we finally managed to get ourself movie tickets to watch together .. Its been a long time already .. we didn't go for a movie .. Phew~ Miss those moments where we used to watch movies together in the weekend or during a movie marathon 3 shows in a day .. XD
The movie was 'L Change The World' ... we both truly enjoyed the movie very much as this is the 3rd episode we have been watching together eventhough its in Japanese language .. but she still remember the how does the story goes along. Hehehe ~ and we went for dinner at Sakae Sushi .. this time around we tried out some new sushi and dishes also .. but very unfortunate that its was fully packed in that restaurant and we both ended up sitting near the kitchen area, which is kinda hot and noisy .. Aikz ! =.=
Very lucky of her coz I bought her fav.ice cream from McD .. and I can see she really enjoyed it coz u know why ? She can even finish my one as well .. and then we proceed on with our movie at Cineleisure Damansara .. with our favourite 'Couple Seat' which is much more comfy and spacious. Phew ~ relaxing abit compare to those which is kinda tight and cramp up like sandwich .. :x
As for Supper .. we go for AnW and packup ourself with Value meals and had it before we head on to rest and call it a day ..

As for Sunday .. Morning .. we went for breakfast buffet to fill in our empty stomach .. kinda starving especially in the morning. =.= Then later in the afternoon we went over to Midvalley and accompany her to go for groceries shopping over at the Carrefour .. before we head down over to Kenny Rogers for lunch .. Phew ~ long time edi we didnt go for that .. =D
Not long after .. we send some time over at the shopping mall wondering around .. before she finally sent me to the bus station around in the evening to catch up with my bus to go back home ..

This trip is really a great one .. and I'm looking forward for the upcoming soon .. but both of us were really exhausted. But I enjoyed it ! Thanks alot Dear for spending time together with me ..

..:: Upcoming Petrol Released & Subsidies Revised ::..

Govt may use higher octane petrol to reduce subsidies

JOHOR BARU: The Government is considering the use of petrol with higher octane number or RON to reduce fuel subsidies without hurting the lower-and-medium income groups.

Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Minister Datuk Shahrir Samad said the Cabinet committee on inflation, which is chaired by the Prime Minister, met on April 1 to consider suggestions to revise RON 92 and RON 97 petrol to RON 95 and RON 99 respectively.

He said the proposal would enable the Government to focus on giving subsidies to RON 95 users, mainly the lower-and medium-income groups.

“RON 92 is now used in motorcycles while RON 97 is used in other vehicles,” he said.

RON or research octane number is a measurement of a fuel's ability to resist engine knocking. A higher octane number means higher resistance to engine knocking.

Shahrir said that RON 99 would be more expensive as it would cater to high performance vehicles.

“The Government is expected to save some funds by giving a bigger subsidy for RON 95, compared to now where RON 92 and RON 97 are equally subsidised.

“However, RON 99 will be subsidised as well, but the amount will be less,” he said.

In January, Second Finance Minister Tan Sri Noh Yakcop said the Government would have to spend RM35bil to subsidise the prices of petrol and diesel when the oil price hit US$100 (RM318) per barrel.

Currently, RON 92 petrol is sold at RM1.88 per litre nationwide while RON 97 is being sold at RM1.92 per litre in Peninsular Malaysia and RM1.91 in Sabah and Sarawak.

It have been quite sometime already that I didn't update the blog with post that is regarding about us .. Recently things aren't going that fine for the past few months .. but yet I will still carry on to walk through this road which is fill with obstacles together with you .. just like both of us holding hands trudging in the mud to reach our destination point.
We have gone through alot of things and events together ... from happiness to sorrow all this while.. But I believe this time around .. we'll be able to make a stronger foundation to form up a relationship bond with you. I still remember the dreams that we have together .. and I wish we could implement it in the coming days. Previously we both had committed a number of mistakes and misunderstandings in between us that lead us to nowhere .. but starting from now onwards .. I believe that .. no matter what .. with our open heart towards each other and our will to carry on with our journey can bring us further breaching us to a new place, a new territory and new age for both of us.

Right now, we are separated by a distance but that won't bring us down .. but in fact helping us to form a stronger tie among each other and I believe with proper communication with you .. things will go the way it should. =)

I think you Guys must be thinking its kinda ridiculous for me to post up something like this .. But I just want to express out what lies in my heart for him. He is my true hero .. I get to know him when I came down to work in Ipoh after 2 months later .. at 1st he was very weak and not really well maintain ... but once I get hold to him .. I take care of him well .. and he became my hero & partner whenever I go ...
We used to travel from different places to different destination ... we used to play around on the road .. we used to hang out at crowded places .. we used to mix ourself with other same kind of the road as well ... We used to bully people on the road ... We used to play until we nearly got accident .. We used to go to the service center together to clean u up .. and wash u too ..

When I got myself hit on the road .. you protect me .. from getting hurt .. You really help me alot .. whenever I need you .. U're there to assist me .. I really dont know what I can say .. but I wish you will be able to hear my gratitude & appreciation for your service. Really Thank you very much to you ..

6 Ways to Massively Reduce Your Expenses & Increase Your Savings by Adam Khoo

1) Study Your Monthly Expenses

Well it's time to study the expense column very closely and identify where you can cut your expenses. You will be surprised to know that we can easily do without between 20-30% of our monthly expenses.

'Dispensable expenses' are stuff we buy on impulse to get a ten-minute gratification, and after that it would not make much difference to our lives.

Or in browsing through glossy flyers and advertisements, we get attracted to special offers on stuff we do not really need. But we buy simply because it seems like a good deal. You must eliminate these expenses as, over the long term, it will cost you millions of future dollars.

You would be amazed at the impact that a few extra hundred dollars in monthly savings will have on your future wealth. This next table shows you that a $300 extra monthly savings would accumulate into an extra $1.69 million in thirty years. An additional $600 saved would grow into an additional $3.38 million in thirty years, more than enough to retire on.

2) Pay Yourself First

Most people adopt the earn-spend-save habit. In other words, when they get their monthly income, they will spend on all their committed and impulse expenditures. Whatever, they have left at the end of the month is what they save. Even if they set aside a budgeted expenditure, this strategy seldom works. Why? Somehow, something unexpected might come up that causes people to spend whatever they have, leaving nothing to be saved.

Instead you must adopt the Pay Yourself First habit. Before you pay the grocer, the restaurant, the utility company, the TV repairman, you have to put aside a fix amount into your investment account. Then, spend whatever you have left.

In other words, you must earn-save-spend. The moment you earn your income, you must immediately put aside 10-20% into a separate investment account. Then live off the rest of the 80%!

The best way to do this is to make it automatic! Instruct your bank to automatically transfer 10-20% of your income into a separate investment account where the funds are not easily accessible. This investment account should not have an ATM card where you can draw it out. You should only have a checkbook which you use to pay for investments.

Now, if you have got any form of consumer debt, you must modify this formula a bit. Deduct the first 10% and use it to pay off part of your principal loan. Then take the next 10% and put it into your investment account.

3) Stop Before You Buy & Procrastinate

Before you buy anything, always stop and ask yourself the following questions:

• 'Do I really need this?'

• 'Will I regret buying this three days later?'

• 'How many hours do I have to work to make back the money?'

• 'How much will this cost me in future dollars?'

Then, procrastinate in making a decision on whether to buy or not to buy. Say to yourself, 'I'll think about it and come back tomorrow.' Eight out of ten times, you will not go back and spend that money as you will probably forget about it.

The best way to stop being a shopaholic is to get yourself so busy in purposeful and fulfilling work - especially meaningful volunteer work -so that you don't go shopping until you really need a particular item. Many shopaholics admit their weakness is due to spending their free time wandering the shopping malls. So, find a meaningful way to occupy your free time and you will stop wasting your money.

4) Destroy All your Credit Cards but One

This next step will be painful but I guarantee it will shave off at least 15%-20% off your monthly expenses. Cut up all your credit cards but just leave one. With lots of credit cards, you will have easy access to lots of tempting credit. Just use one card with limited credit for all your expenses...and again, pay the full balance.

5) Plan your Purchases...Only Buy at a Discount

You would easily save another 15-25% if were to plan your purchases, buying only when there is a special discount and buying in bulk. Remember the example I gave you earlier about Ingvar Kamprad, the founder of IKEA? He would only buy vegetables and fruits in the afternoon, when the prices have dropped significantly.

As a kid, I observed my dad stocking up on toothpaste whenever the supermarket had a special promotion. He would stock enough toothpaste for six months until the next promotion. I also have friends who buy all their clothes twice a year, during the citywide sale. So plan your purchases with a three to six month horizon in mind and buy in bulk whenever there is a very special promotion.

6) Treat it as a Business Expense

Even if you are a full time employee, you should register a business for income tax reduction purposes. You can use this business entity for internet business purposes or to market your intellectual property.

With a business, you can take certain expenses like transport, entertainment, office supplies etc. and charge them as business expenses. Whenever you do, you get an automatic tax deduction. The higher your income tax bracket, the larger the savings. For example, if you pay 20% in personal income taxes, then every time you claim an expense as a business expense, you save 20%!

So there you have it, the six ways to reduce our expenses by 20-30% immediately. Remember it will only happen if you start taking action on it right away! Only through the combined efforts of increasing your income and reducing your expenses can you save the cash necessary for you to invest and earn compound growth wealth that will lead you to financial freedom.

Hmm ... I guess this title sounds familiar right ? Yup !! Its my main title of the blog I had here. After mixing with some new people and some incidents that took place in the past. It reminds me to stand up and fight for my own future. I realized that I was still in a small scope of exposure.. but this time around I would like to explore more & gain more from the outside world that is yet to be discovered by me in the coming days .. =)
Currently I'm working as a Operation Manager in a Oil & Gas Retail Industry .. with this as my foundation I would like to start my journey of exploration from here. I hope there will be more and more opportunities coming to me .. To venture, explore & Gain my experience from there. Right now .. I was stuck in between the border line of my scope and the outside world .. but I believe with proper decision making and thinking .. it can be solve. Last weekend was a great one ... as I managed to spend it together with my Dear as we planned earlier. At 1st, there was some unforeseen incidents that took place which may change our plan but Thank God that it doesn't and we managed to make it through. This time around, I'm going down over to KL by bus .. stopped by the KTM Sentral and walked all the way to the nearest LRT station which is the Pasar Seni LRT stop. Really excited to meet her since we haven't met for about 3 weeks time already.. Once I reached my destination she came over to pick me up and then we went to settle some stuff before heading out for our movie session. We went for 2 movie sessions at different spots .. but we do enjoyed it very much eventhough its a rushing trip. I only know that my Dear enjoyed the movie more than I do .. and she even admired some handsome guys acting in that KungFu Dunk movie as well.. besides her fav.artist ' Jay Chow ' .. Hahaha .. anyway the show really nice to watch. Worth the bux !! Luckily we managed to get the tickets & good seats last minute .. Phew~ that was a close one.
Late night show some more ... both of us were tired with eyes bags on our face. XD || After the show, we just canceled our plan for supper and head back to rest already. Till the next morning .. we went for a buffet breakfast session .. quite ok la with that kind of pricing but unfortunately both of us dont really feel comfy after taking the meal .. maybe some portion of the food not really clean. Aikz !! I felt sorry for that coz it affects my Dear and now she got herself diarrhea. Hope that she will recover soon ... =)
After the b'fast session we went over to her teacher's house for a visit during the CNY session and guess what .. I'm lucky to get myself an ang pow from her teacher. Awesome !! But cant really stay long over there as we got to head back to her house to visit her parents since quite a long time already didn't meet them up. Before heading back to Ipoh .. I tooked her to Secret Recipe aka her fav.spot .. for her to enjoy her once again 'cheese cake' frenzy over there while I took my lunch as well .. but somehow things happened very unpredictable .. and ended up our plan changed again. Sigh ~~ She drove me up all the way to Ipoh to send me home and back home by herself. On the journey, we talked over with some issues and things that took place within us .. but she got to drive back down to KL alone at night after that. I wasnt really feeling comfortable with it at all as I know she will really face problem with her vision at night .. besides that, she wasnt feeling ok with her stomach and legs as well. I'm sorry Dear to trouble you yesterday evening .. I hope you will feel better today.
I'm glad to have you as my Beloved Dear .. Thanks for everything .. =)
No matter how .. we will walk through this path together ..

Sigh .. its just the 2nd day of Chinese New Year and yet I'm back to my station starting to work .. really not ready to let go of the holiday mood .. but yet I can't do anything but to help out. If not without proper supervision the station might come out with errors at the end of the day. Phew ~ I can only sound out with a sigh of exhaustion.

Anyway, I'm glad that my Dear was here to accompany throughout the days when I was in the hometown. It was a boring trip over there coz there isn't any entertainment stuffs over to involve myself in. What ever tv shows I wanted to watch .. also being conquered by someone else. Erm.. I mean the TV set. Sigh ~ same happened to my family members as well. Most likely we are back there just to work & help things out .. cooking, cleaning .. cooking, cleaning ... repeating again and again. Exhausted.. =S .. But luckily my family will be back home today already. Yay !! Away from the place & once more .. we are over with the CNY celebration @ the hometown. Phew ... !!

I hope that she will have a wonderful Chinese New Year eventhough this year not much events or outing that we can work on coz both of us are jam packed with work loads but yet I'm waiting for the right day as I told her to come. Is just around the corner .. =)
It have been quite sometime already .. we didn't really go out and have fun together .. So fast a year had already passes and yet there are much memories of happiness & sadness that come across my mind during this few days. I believe we can make it through .. years & long journey that is up ahead of us.
